Seeking assistance with retrieving data from the clipboard in TypeScript after clicking on a button.
Please provide guidance. Thank you!
In certain browsers,
window.clipboardData.getData('Text')
may be functional. Yet, in several of these browsers, a prompt will appear asking the user for permission to grant access to the clipboard from the web page.
Best regards
To utilize the (paste)="onPaste($event)" event binding, simply apply it to an HTML element within your component. The event parameter received by your method will be of type ClipboardEvent.
The clipboardData attribute has been eliminated from the window object since TypeScript version 1.5.
Using navigator.clipboard.readText() to retrieve text and logging it using console.log().
