Apologies, but it seems there was an issue with the installation of the "@angular/compiler-cli" package

Despite thoroughly searching through various threads, I am still unable to find a solution to my problem. I have cloned the angular2 quickstart project and ensured that all module versions are up to date. For reference, here is the link to the repository: github.com/ashishsurana/portfolio

Answer №1

Avoid the hassle of cloning the angular seed project.

All you have to do is globally install the Angular CLI on your system by running:

npm install -g @angular/cli@latest

Once installed, you can easily create a new project using:

ng new my-project

After creating the project, navigate to its directory and run it using:

cd my-project ng serve

Answer №2

To resolve the issue, consider uninstalling current dependencies and then reinstalling them by executing npm install. Ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of TypeScript (preferably version 2.2 or newer). This method successfully resolved the problem for me!
