Enhance Chatbot-ui by integrating GPT-4V (Vision) functionality, enriching the open-source ChatGPT clone developed in TypeScript

Is there a way to integrate GPT-4 Vision API into Chatbot-ui, the fantastic open-source alternative to ChatGPT created by McKay Wrigley?

This tool allows you to access OpenAI AI models using your own API key, which is truly remarkable. I have been using it for personal projects and now I am interested in adding gpt4v to my setup as well.

You can find the Github repository here: https://github.com/mckaywrigley/chatbot-ui

Answer №1

Recently, I've been putting in the effort on a new project that could be of assistance to you. Just a few hours ago, I integrated vision support into it. This project, known as convo-lang, may not deal with the user interface layer, but it has the ability to replicate a complete ChatGTP experience, including vision support and function calling. The responsibility of rendering to the UI lies with you.
