Yesterday, WebStorm 2020.1 was installed on my computer.
All of a sudden, I started encountering numerous TS2532 errors.

How is it even possible for this to be "undefined"? Doesn't selectedOwner && prevent that?
I attempted to eliminate this annoying error by setting "strictNullChecks": false,, but unfortunately, it did not work.
Webstorm can sometimes experience delays in updating changes.
To improve this, I suggest verifying that the Webstorm TypeScript service is utilizing the correct TypeScript version and tsconfig.json file for your project.
To check this, navigate to Preferences -> Languages & Frameworks -> TypeScript in the Webstorm menu.
Make sure it is loading TypeScript from the node_modules of your project specifically and not from elsewhere. Also, confirm that the compile scope is set to Project Files.
Restarting the TypeScript service might also be beneficial.
If you are using TypeScript 3.7.5 and newer versions, consider simplifying conditional rendering with optional chaining:
selectedLocalOwner?.id && .....
