Exclude all .js files from subdirectories in SVN

In my typescript project, I am looking to exclude all generated JavaScript files in a specific folder from SVN. Is there a convenient command or method to achieve this for all files within the directory?

Answer №1

Indeed, you can find more information in this helpful answer.

If you wish to exclude files or patterns recursively across all directories within a main folder, Subversion 1.8 and newer versions offer the solution through the svn:global-ignores property. Prior to Subversion 1.8, similar functionality exists but requires manual configuration by each client in their runtime settings ([global-ignores] section of config file).
