Having trouble resolving the 'fs' module when integrating Twilio with Angular 6

There was an error in the har.js module within the request library. The 'fs' module could not be resolved in the specified directory.

'/home/**/Desktop/**/***/node_modules/request/lib'

Additionally, there was an error in the RequestClient.js module in the Twilio library. Once again, the 'fs' module could not be resolved in the specified directory.

The specific directory causing the issue is '/home//Desktop//***/node_modules/twilio/lib/base'

Answer №1

fs, a fundamental module in node.js, is crucial for server-side operations. Conversely, this particular package showcased at https://www.npmjs.com/package/twilio is designed specifically for node - meaning it functions on the server side with access to core modules. Attempting to utilize a core module on the client side (such as within a browser environment) will be unsuccessful since it lacks access to these core modules.
