Is it possible to generate code snippets for TypeScript in Visual Studio 2015?

Is it possible to create a code snippet for Angular 1.x directives written in TypeScript, even though there may be some product level configuration required?

I have come across similar questions discussing TypeScript snippets on Visual Studio, but the responses seem to suggest that Microsoft has not yet included some common snippets with TypeScript.

Answer №1

It seems that TypeScript snippets can now be used in VS 15 preview 4 or VS Code. Check out TypeScript snippets in VS here

Latest Update:
The Microsoft team has just announced the Milestone update for snippets in VS to VS 15 preview 5.
