Is there a way to conceal the automatically created files (.js and .js.map) generated by the TypeScript compiler in NERDTree?
Is there a way to conceal the automatically created files (.js and .js.map) generated by the TypeScript compiler in NERDTree?
Special thanks to Hussein Nazzal, who helped me successfully resolve this issue. Since I am working with Angular2, there are a few specific steps to keep in mind:
Include the outDir property in tsconfig.json like this:
{
"compilerOptions": {
"target": "es5",
"module": "system",
"moduleResolution": "node",
"sourceMap": true,
"emitDecoratorMetadata": true,
"experimentalDecorators": true,
"removeComments": false,
"noImplicitAny": false,
"outDir": "buildjs/"
},
"exclude": [
"node_modules",
"typings/main",
"typings/main.d.ts"
]
}
Next, in the .vimrc file, add the following line:
let NERDTreeIgnore=['buildjs$']
Remember to update the index.html file with the following line near System.import('buildjs/main'),
System.import('app/main')`
Add to System.config
map: {
app: 'buildjs'
}
If you want to conceal files, simply employ the NERDTreeHide
let NERDTreeHide = ['\.css$' , '\.css.map$']
This specific command must be added to your vimrc
configuration file
If you press the uppercase letter I in the NERDTree plugin, you can switch the visibility of hidden files.
If you want to hide the files by default, simply add the following line to your vimrc configuration:
let NERDTreeShowHidden=0
