I've been encountering the error displayed in the map.d.ts file (see first image). As a result, my intellisense isn't functioning properly as shown in the second image.

To organize your .d.ts file effectively, consolidate all the import statements within the declare module "moduleName" {} block.
To integrate the following @import statement before declaring observables, verify that your rxjs version is above "^5.0.0" in the package.json file.

Upon reviewing the screenshot, it appears that Visual Studio you are using has a TypeScript language service that is not up to date with the latest public release and lacks support for module augmentation introduced in [email protected].
