The inclusion of ECMAScript functionalities in the standard library is determined by a compiler setting known as "lib". Currently, you do not have the ability to adjust the "lib" setting in TypeScript Playground.

For development on your local machine, follow Jared's advice and set the "lib" option to "es2017" or a more recent version.
