Time taken for a webpage to finish loading

Is there a way to programmatically obtain the page load time in an Angular application?

Situation: On my dashboard page, various components are making multiple calls. I want to calculate the overall time it takes to load all widgets on the page.

Answer №1

If you're looking to enhance your application's performance, consider implementing an interceptor as the central gateway for handling all HTTP calls. Check out this link for more details.

You can also track the time taken from the first call initiation until all HTTP requests are resolved for better insights.

Answer №2

If you're interested in analyzing the overall performance of a webpage, you can do so using Google Chrome.

To begin, open the developer tools -> Performance tab and start recording while your page loads. Once the page is fully loaded, stop the recording to analyze how each function is performing.
