What steps should I take to ensure my sanity studio updates are reflected in my nextjs app?

Upon configuring my sanity studio with the initial data, everything seemed to be working well. However, when I try to make changes and publish them, the next app still displays the previous data. Even after deleting some information in the studio, the updates do not appear in the next app.

I experimented with running it in production mode, but the issue persisted.

Answer №1

I'm in the process of unraveling this mystery as well. I encountered a similar issue and after tweaking some aspects of the fetch code, everything fell into place.

It seems that making modifications to the fetch code triggers an update with the latest data.

The reason behind this behavior eludes me; perhaps it's linked to caching. Despite attempting various solutions I came across, nothing seemed to make a difference.
