Why doesn't WebStorm display TypeScript inspection errors in real-time?

How can I enable real-time inspections to occur immediately?

(I've already attempted invalidating and clearing the cache).

Latest update of WebStorm, version 2017.2.4 encountered issues with TypeScript 2.6, but the bug has been resolved in WebStorm 2017.2.5.
