The reason for the error is related to the flag -p
:
When using the
-p
flag, you are compiling a project based on a valid configuration file. The argument provided should be either a file path to a JSON configuration file or a directory path containing a tsconfig.json file. Refer to the tsconfig.json documentation for more information.
If there is no valid JSON configuration file present, the error mentioned will occur. Simply omitting the -p
should resolve this issue. It's possible that the missing opening {
within the code represents the beginning of the absent JSON file.
