Is it possible to disable an HTML input element using a condition specified in a TS file?
To easily disable an input field, you can simply include the [disabled]
attribute in the input tag, like so:
<input [disabled]="isDisabled" [(ngModel)]="myInput">
In this example, the boolean variable isDisabled
would be defined within the component as follows:
// app.component.ts
export class AppComponent {
isDisabled: boolean = false;
}
Alternatively, if the boolean value is being passed via an input:
// app.component.ts
export class AppComponent {
@Input() isDisabled: boolean;
}
