The source files are expected to be contained within the 'rootDir' directory, which is not located at 'c:/Users/hasit/Desktop/typescript/src'

Can someone assist me with separating the Src folder and public folder in my project? When I try to do it in the tsconfig.json file, I encounter this error: "'rootDir' is expected to contain all source files." I have followed instructions from a stackoverflow article but still haven't had any success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To ensure proper functionality, it is important that the tsconfig file is located within your project's root directory. Based on the visual information provided, it appears that your project folder is named Desktop/typescript/final, whereas the tsconfig file is found in a different location at Desktop/typescript.

A simple solution would be to relocate the tsconfig file to your project folder (specifically the final directory), which should resolve any issues.
